Time Study Android App

The Forest Operation Time Study app supports element-level time studies using the standardized work elements developed for common forest harvesting machines.

The application was fully rewritten in 2026 to meet current Android standards and improve long-term compatibility, usability, and data handling. The current Version 3.0 supports modern Android phones and tablets and provides a streamlined workflow for field data collection.

The app is used for forest-operations research, teaching, and professional training, including WVU field instruction and harvesting research. It is also used by international collaborators working with standardized forest productivity-study methods.
